School Board Member Candidates:
Residents of White Township interested in becoming a School Board Member should contact the Board Office for a nominating petition at 475-4773, ext. 273.
To become a member of a local Board of Education in New Jersey you must: Be able to read and write, Hold US citizenship and one year’s residency in the school district, Have no interest in any contract with, or claim against, the Board, Not hold office as mayor or member of the municipal governing body, and Be registered to vote
There are three – 3 year term positions available on the White Township Board of Education. The petitions must be filed with the Business Administrator/Board Secretary by 4:00 p.m. on February 27, 2012 . School Board elections will be held on April 17, 2012.
